Hi my name is jeremy Rigby. I was born in Brazil in 1969. I moved to Brisbane Australia when I was one year old. Half way through University I decided to see the world. My parents were not happy. Finish university and find a job they said. I didn’t listen and I was off. I travelled to America and then to England where I worked as a bar man. From England I travelled to Japan where I lived for 4 years. I worked in bars, restaurants, construction sites, English schools and as a performer. I had the time of my life. In 1997 I returned to Cairns where I have worked as a Tour Guide for two of Japan’s largest tour companies. I have learnt so much about life and people. This book is a way of passing information on to others to help them with their travels.

私はジェレミー・リグビーです。私は1969年にブラジルで生まれ、１歳の時にオ－ストラリアのブリスベンに移住しました。そして大学の半課程を終える頃、私は世界を見てみたい、と思い立ちました。両親に話したところ快く承諾してくれず、「大学を卒業し、仕事をしなさい」と。私はそれを聞かずに旅に出ました。まずアメリカ旅行をして、その後イギリスでバーでの仕事をしました。そしてイギリスから日本へ飛び、４年間住みました。日本では飲み屋、レストラン、工事現場や英会話学校で仕事をし、私の人生の中で輝いた時期でした。

1997年、オーストラリアのケアンズへ戻り、２つの日本の大手旅行会社でツアーガイドとして働きました。

私はいろんなこと、人生とそして人々を学びました。この本はこれから旅を始める皆さんの為に役立つ情報を与えてくれることでしょう。
