My friend in Japan in a “Hairdresser”. If she came over could she find a job hairdressing?

私の友達が日本で美容師をやっています。彼女はこっちで美容師の仕事を見つけることができますか？  

Most large cities have specialized Japanese hairdressers where the staff and customers are predominately Japanese.

日本人の住民が大勢いる多くの大都市で日本人美容師が活躍しています。  

So it would be exactly the same as working in a Japanese Hair salon.

Japanese hair is much thicker and stronger than European hair. Japanese hair requires different cutting techniques. Japanese Hairdressers are always in strong demand.

日本人の髪質はヨーロッパ系の人と違って太くて硬いですから、美容師には特別のテクニックが求められます。だから日本人美容師はいつも需要があります。

 

My friend is also a trained “Makeup artist”.

別の友達はメイクアップアーチストです。

 Many tourist cities have Japanese Wedding companies for Japanese who marry overseas. These companies will employ makeup artists and hairdressers.

観光都市には海外で結婚式を挙げる人達の為の会社があり、そういった会社はメイクアップアーチストや美容師を雇っています。
