実際にあった話

A couple of years ago a friend of mine was returning from the United States of America. He stopped in Hawaii for a week and stayed at a backpackers. During the week he became good friends with a Canadian Man. They went swimming, to discos and general sight seeing together.

数年前、私の友人がアメリカから戻る途中、彼はハワイで１週間バックパッカーズに滞在する事にしました。その間にカナダ人男性と仲良くなり、彼らは一緒にディスコや泳ぎに行き、観光などをしました。

On the last day my friend checked out of the backpackers and went to the beach with the man. It was his idea. My friend took everything with him. The man suggested they went for a swim together. My friend said that he couldn’t because he had his backpack, passport etc…

彼の最終日、バックパッカーズをチェックアウトした後、その男友達とビーチに行きました。それはその男友達のアイデアで、一緒に泳ごうと誘われましたが、荷物やパスポートがあるから無理だといって断りました。

The man said that he had a good idea. He would go for a quick swim and then come back and mind the backpack when my friend went for a swim.

男は「いい考えがある」と。男はさっと泳いで帰って来て、君が泳いでいる間は荷物を見ててあげるよ、と言いました。

When my friend came back from his swim everything including the Canadian man was gone. He lost absolutely everything. He had to go to the “Police Station”, wearing only his swimsuit.

私の友人が泳いで帰ってくると、そのカナダ人の男とともに全てが無くなっていました。友人は完全に全てを失いました。彼は水着のまま警察に行かなければなりませんでした。

When travelling you always have to be careful.

旅行中はいつでも用心しなければいけません。
